The first International Aikido Seminar took place in the summer of 1977 and was since then led by Nobuyoshi Tamura sensei. And with a demonstration in presence of the French regional television, the International Aikido Seminars (in French: les Recontres Internationales d’Aikido or RIA) were successfully launched!
After Tamura sensei’s passing away in 2010, three of his long-time students, i.e. Claude Pellerin, Michel Prouvèze and Gilbert Milliat, continued leading the seminar. We are looking forward to the 48th year!
